Become a Certified Yoga/Pilates Teacher

You will have the oportunity to benefit from over twenty years of ongoing training, development and study.
You can stand out from the rest and become a Yoga or Pilates teacher of the highest standard. The certification course will enable you to assess, teach and enable groups and individuals to function at optimal levels.

Group Yoga and Pilates Sessions

Modified sessions suitable for all levels. MA sessions specialise in methods that actually work. The sessions entail flowing harmonious dynamic movements and positions. The positions and movements will tone strengthen and align, core stabilising muscles. If you are rehabilitating from pre or post natal stress, back and postural problems or simply looking to enhance your quality of life and performance these sessions will be ideal.

You can expect to strengthen your pelvic floor to functional levels and tone you entire body. As a stress management tool MA Yoga Pilates will be ideal. Those individuals who have suffered injury in high impact activities will find these sessions superb for rehabilitation, staying in great shape and balancing your life.

Research indicates that whatever your sport whether, skiing, rugby, football, racket sports etc your game will be enhanced by regular Yoga and Pilates.

  • Excellent for all abilities male or female whatever your motivation
  • Mats are provided but it is advisable to purchase your own mat.

Wellness Foundation Pilates Yoga Certification course

A moral and ethically driven holistic organisation delivering excellence in Pilates Yoga and mind body programmes. Courses and workshops facilitated by coaches with over 20 years teaching and conditioning experience.

From the certification programme you can expect to:

  • teach to the highest possible standards in an empathetic manner
  • observe and correct postural defects
  • have a functional understanding of biomechanics
  • have thorough understanding of core strength
  • multi level teach accomodating all levels
  • learn stress management techniques to balance mind and body

Once payment as been received your manual will be sent out in the post and development begins.

Modules one and two will consist of practical teaching drills with a theory exam on module two. The Wellness Foundation manual consists of over sixty poses to balance and strengthen mind and body.
The course entails 350 hours of home study and practical workshop with the Wellness Foundation. Limited numbers on the course to ensure quality tuition. Course dates 2009 Module one 7th November - Module two 5th December
